FFS is a consultancy company specialising in assisting food manufacturers, distributors and retailers in all aspects of business development. This can either be in the form of defined consultancy projects or interim management.
The principal partner, Alan Symonds, was previously MD of one of Hillsdown's Buxted Poultry subsidiaries and Chilled and Frozen Director of Booker Wholesale Foods.
Formed 10 year ago, FFS has an impressive list of current and former clients, which includes NAAFI, BP, Whitbread Inns, Palmer & Harvey, Ginsters, Hazlewood, Nestle, Le Riches (Channel Islands), Post Office Counters, Silver Hill Foods (Ire), Exel Logistics, Crown Chicken Ltd, Key Lekkerland, Avonmore, NATO, Spar (UK and South Africa), Solomons (St Helena), Cosmos Trading (Cyprus).
They have also worked extensively overseas in Germany, Cyprus, South Africa and Ireland and are currently working on a project to build trading relationships between UK and Baltic States companies.
FFS are extremely well connected and also have a strong network of associates capable of finding cost effective solutions to all food related activities. If they cannot do it themselves, for sure, FFS will know somebody who can.
